Section 1:
Do they have 2 sources?
Have they explained relevance of sources to investigation?
Have they done (OPC)(VL)?
Have they stated the research question (RQ)?
Section 2:
Is there a thesis? (clarity and organization?)
Are there different perspectives/arguments/counterclaims?
Is there analysis of evidence? Or is the paper merely descriptive?
Consistent conclusion based upon evidence?
Is there a consistent structure based upon thesis?
Do they use a range of sources?
Are the sources from reliable locations? Peer reviewed? Or are they all History.com?
Do their sources provide arguments?
Are there primary sources included?
Section 3:
Have they discussed struggles of investigation (research you've done)?
Have they discussed methods and limitation of methods?
Have they made a connection to their OWN investigation?
