Stalin Foreign Policy website
Find two articles on JSTOR. Some goods one include - The Emergence of Stalin's Foreign Policy, Japan and Stalin's Policy towards Northeast Asia after World War II, The Crucial Issues of the Early Cold War Stalin and the Chinese Civil War.
When you post an image you MUST include a caption describing what is happening along with 5-7 hashtags that are appropriate for the post.
A minimum of 10 posts is required.
Insert your username and your name on the spreadsheet at the bottom of this post.
Some guidance related to the nature of your posts after seeing some of us take our type A personalities and run wildly onto the internet without much foresight:
- Must contain an image that relates to the foreign policy action/event you want to discuss (less memes, more history).
- Post should describe, in detail, the foreign policy action/event. Where applicable, was this a success or failure for Stalin? (This may require some clever usages of current trends in social media #TBT, #WBW, etc. if posting as Stalin would have posted - see bullet below).
- Hashtags should also relate to the foreign policy action/event. Include other groups that are involved, other people that are involved, the action/event itself, etc.
- You may go one of two routes with this - Pose and post AS Stalin. OR Pose and post as a student of history spreading historic knowledge.
- This is STILL an extension of the classroom, so usernames should reflect appropriate school expectations..... Some of you may want to reconsider your usernames.
